Toddler Backpacks

Because toddlers are younger and smaller than older children, who backpacks are typically made for, they need backpacks that will fit them. If they use a backpack that is too big for them it could at least be uncomfortable and at worst could cause injury. So, if you have a younger child who you will be sending to daycare with a backpack, or going on vacation with, then you will want to make sure that purchase a backpack that is going to be the right size for them, and not lead to any injuries.

The great thing is that most of the manufactures that make other kids backpacks also make toddler backpacks, so you will have a pretty decent size selection to choose from. Just make sure that it is specified as a toddler backpack and that it is a good fit on your child. They even make some really cool rolling backpacks for toddlers that I’m sure your little one will get a kick out of. Having their own backpack will be a major thing for them, so don’t be surprised to see them marching around the house with their new backpack on with nowhere to go. The one thing you have to keep in mind though with a toddler they are going to be growing so fast that they might soon grow out of their backpack.
